Beating the Blank Page
Everyone wants to write but how do you start? Mike will lead you through accessible exercises meant to generate a massive amount of writing in a short period of time. Create and develop characters, put them into different standard conflict scenarios and complete a rough first draft, all in under three hours.
Whether you have never written before or a seasoned veteran, you are going to leave this workshop with a lot of new material!

Theater and Film Writing Competitions
Mike started two creative competitions for The Attic Studio in Dublin: a 48 hour playwrighting competition and a 72 hour film making competition. The latter was developed into the annual New York/Dublin Filmfest featuring teams from The Attic Studio in Dublin and Backyart in New York .
The next Filmfest will be screened April 1 2011 at CultureFix in New York. Contact Mike for more information on how to participate or attend.
